13.12.95 Avyakt Murli Points on Pass with Honour, Tolerance, Desire, wasteful words, self-checking, Courage, Detached Observer, Making time for Tapasya to remove weakness of self and others

13.12.95 Avyakt Murli Points on Pass with Honour, Tolerance, Desire, wasteful words, self-checking, Courage, Detached Observer, Making time for Tapasya to remove weakness of self and others:

1. Some receive the throne and some become part of the royal family.  There is deep significance in this also.

At the confluence age, it is those who constantly and naturally remain seated on the heart-throne of the Father, not just sometimes, but it is those from the beginning until the end even in their dreams and thoughts, who maintain their vow of purity, who have not touched impurity even in their dreams; it is such elevated souls who can be seated on the heart-throne.

Only those who have claimed good marks in all four subjects, and have passed with a good number from the beginning until the end are said to have passed with honour.  Not that you claim less marks now and again, and then have to catch up, but it is only those who, from the beginning, have done everything that the Father likes who can claim the throne.  As well as this, those who are loved by everyone in the Brahmin family, with whom everyone co-operates, who receive regard from the heart of everyone of the Brahmin family; it is those who have won such regard who can claim the throne.  If you are lacking in these aspects in one way or another, then it is possible that you become part of the royal family, but numberwise.  You can come in the first number, the eight or in the silver age.  If you want to be seated on the throne, check yourself in these aspects.  What would happen if you have accumulated a hundred marks in service but only twenty-five marks in your dharna?  Would such a soul claim a throne?  Many children go ahead in other subjects, but to be real gold is to be able to mould yourself according to the time through your dharna.

2. Sometimes, Maya becomes even more clever than the children.  She instantly adopts a form according to the time; and what do the children then say?  Baba gets to hear of everyone, and so the children say: one person is wrong and the other one is right.  It also happens that, sometimes, both sides may be missing something.  However, if, for instance, you consider yourself to be absolutely right and even if the other one is absolutely wrong, and you even understand this, then since you are right and the other one is wrong, then according to the time and the atmosphere, even though you are right, you may have to accommodate something within yourself.  You may have to die; you may have to step away, but what do children say?  "Is it always I who have to bow down in every situation?  Is it that I am here for dying for others and the others are there for enjoying themselves.  I always have to die; it is very difficult to die in this way."  You have died a living death and that is easy.  You have become a Brahma Kumar or a Brahma Kumari and so you have died alive.  This dying has been very easy.  You died and you became a B.K.  But to die again and again in this way is very difficult.  It is difficult, isn't it?  The young ones say that they have to die a lot and the older ones say that they have to listen to a lot.  So, you have to tolerate a lot and they have to listen to a lot, and so who has to die?  Who should die?  Should one die?  Should both die?  Who should die?  Should one die or should both die?  Should both die?  Then the whole game would be finished!  If both of you die, then the situation is resolved, the game is finished.  So, do you know how to die?  Or, do you find it difficult to die?  When you only have a little breath, you are breathless, and you are not even able to breathe.  Then there is difficulty, isn't there?  At that time you say, "Is it always I who have to die?  I who have to change?".  "Is it just my responsibility to change?"  "Others also have this responsibility."  You have to share it between yourselves: "You die to this extent and I will die to this extent."  At that time, BapDada also feels mercy, but this dying is not dying.  This dying is to live for all time.  People say that you can't go to heaven without dying.  They do say this, don't they?  Anyway, you don't go to heaven through that dying, but through this dying, you will definitely claim a right to heaven.  Therefore, to die in this way means to claim a right to heaven.  When you become afraid, thinking that you will have to die, that you will have to tolerate a great deal, then a little thing becomes something huge.  For instance, although there may not be any thugs or thieves around, when you have the fear in yourself that there is a thief around, what happens because of that fear?  Because of fear, either your heartbeat will fluctuate or your blood pressure will fluctuate.  This does happen, doesn't it?  Where are the doctors?  This happens because of fear, doesn't it?  You become afraid, and so the dying is not a big thing, but your fear makes something little into something huge.  Then you say, "I don't know what happens to me, I don't know."  However, just as you didn't have any fear of dying alive, but had courage, and you died with great happiness, in the same way, don't use the word "die", but it is bringing about transformation with great happiness.  Because the words "to die" are used, you become afraid.  In fact, this is not dying, but claiming a good number in the subject of dharna.
Do not be afraid of having to tolerate anything.  Why do you become afraid?  Is it because you feel, "Why should I tolerate something that is not true?  Why should I tolerate something wrong?"  But, who gave you the order to tolerate?  Did the one who told lies give you this order?  Very many children do tolerate, but there is a difference in tolerating out of compulsion and tolerating out of love.  You are not tolerating because of the situation, but it is Baba's direction: Be tolerant.  So to accept the Father's directions is accepting God's directions, and so is that a matter of happiness or compulsion?  Sometimes you do tolerate, but it is mixed: there is love as well as compulsion.  Since you are tolerating, then tolerate with happiness.  Why should you do it out of compulsion?  When that person comes in front of you, you feel it to be compulsion, but you are following the Father's orders; what would it feel like if the Father came in front of you instead?  Would it feel like compulsion or love?

3. The greater you are, the more responsibility you have.  To become big is not just something to be happy about, but since you have a big name, you must perform a big task.  Are all the teachers happy?  Is everyone happy?  Or, do you still have some desire in your mind?  If there is any desire, it will not allow you to become good.  Either fulfil your desire or become good; it is in your hands.  It has been seen that desires are like walking in the sun.  When you see yourself walking in the sun, your shadow will go ahead of you, and if you try to catch hold of it, would you be able to do this?  And when you turn back, where would the shadow go?  It would follow you.  So desires are something that attract you to themselves and make you cry, whereas when you let go of desires, they come following you.  Those who beg can never become complete.  You may not ask for anything else, you may not say anything else, but you beg a lot in a royal way.  You do know what the royal form of begging is, do you not?  Do you know what it is?  Do the new ones know what it is?  That you earn a temporary name for yourself, that you are given some regard, that your name is listed with the special souls, that you are counted amongst the senior brothers, that you are counted amongst the senior sisters, even that you should be given a chance.  But whilst you are a beggar, you cannot become complete with the treasures of happiness.  To chase after your desires or the things that you ask for is like chasing after a mirage.  Constantly keep yourself safe from this.  It is not a bad thing to remain a junior.  The young ones are equal to God, because they have claimed a number ahead in BapDada's heart.  You must have experienced whether temporary desires make you cry or laugh.  They make you cry, don't they?  It is Ravan's order for you to be made to cry.  But you belong to the Father, and so would the Father make you laugh or cry?

4.Today, BapDada is especially drawing your attention to wasteful words which no one likes.  If you like them, but others don't like them, then stop using those words for all time.  If BapDada were to note the children's words throughout the day, it would be a huge file.  These words are bad words, wasteful words or speaking loudly.  In fact, speaking loudly is to disturb others.  Don't say, "My voice is like that."  You can become the conquerors of Maya and yet you can't become the conqueror of your own voice!  So, don't speak wasteful words or words that disturb others.  You may have had a conversation with someone of just a few words, but you would continue to speak about that for another half an hour.  You speak too many words then.  If you can do something by just speaking four words, then don't speak twelve to fifteen words.  You have a slogan: Speak less and speak softly.  Those who say that their voice is loud, that they don't want to speak loudly, but their voice is like that, they should put the slogan around their neck.  But what happens instead?  You may speak in your own intoxication, but when those who come to you hear it and don't know that your voice is like that, it appears to them as though you are quarrelling.  And so that is also disservice.  So Baba is giving you today's lesson: Liberate yourself from wasteful words and words that disturb others.  Become free from speaking wasteful words.  Then you will receive a lot of help in becoming an avyakt angel.

5. Each of you should check yourself.  Then don't start saying that, Baba spoke the murli and yet He is also speaking.  Do not look at others.  Look at your own self: To what extent have I observed Baba's shrimat?  At present, you look at one another: Is this one doing this?  But when you are claiming your rights, if the other person gets a lower status, will you accompany him in that?  At that time, will you look at the other person?  At that time, you won't see the other person.  So why do you look at others now?

6. all those who have come, do you feel that you have the courage to become an intense effort-maker and celebrate the Diamond Jubilee through your life and service?  Out of those who have come here for the first time, those who feel that they will definitely become this and show this to the Father, raise your hands!  And, out of the new ones that have come and feel that they will become this by the end of the Diamond Jubilee, raise your hands.  OK, you will become this by the end, so don't be ashamed.  You are hesitating a little in raising your hand.  However, BapDada asks you: What is not possible with courage?  Just maintain courage.  Become worthy to receive that courage and you can go ahead in a short time.  Therefore, don't be disheartened, thinking: I don't know if I will be able to become this or not.  Do not be disheartened.

7. There will be complications, yet there will be something good in the complications also.  The world is like an ocean and the steamer of Brahmins in moving through that world, it is going beyond.  So, now and again, there will be high waves and waves from the opposite direction.  Even when they do come, you still have to reach your destination.  It is fixed.  In-between, the waves will show their own games.  You are observing the games, but seated on the seat of a detached observer.  You do not observe the games considering them to be real situations.  When you observe the games as a detached observer, you remain safe and also enjoy yourself.  However, if you get involved in them and consider them to be real situations, then you will become trapped in the whole group.  Then it will be difficult to extricate yourself from them.  You judge rightly, and so change the curtain: the wrong has to be finished for all time and the right has to move forward.  However, if you change the curtain, that same curtain should not come up again.  If you get involved in situations, it then takes many months to overcome them.  Now, you have to become even more powerful in discriminating and resolving problems.  Since service is increasing, the situations will also increase.  Many think that this never to used to happen before, and wonder why it is happening now.  But time moves forward and your stage of effort keeps on changing.  Therefore, continue to observe the games as a detached observer.  Apply a full stop and move forward systematically.  Just continue to do this.  However, you are carefree anyway.

8. The duty of teachers is to do service and to make the servers move forward in every way.  It shouldn't be that you yourself are very well, that you are enjoying yourself and that you can't do anything if students don't come.  No, you have a responsibility.  It is a teacher's duty to fill herself with extra power and make others powerful.  If, for instance, you are weak in any particular subject, and if you wish the students to move forward in that subject, what should you do?  What should you do if you yourself are weak?  You wish to become something, but you have a weakness and the student also has the same weakness; what should you do?  Should you make effort?  Teachers should take out extra time and make special effort to remove their weakness.  Do some tapasya!  It shouldn't be that you wake up at amrit vela, and that you then become busy in service, that you go to sleep at night and the day has gone by.  Do some tapasya: I have to become complete and make others complete.  So what should you do?  You take a lot of time in sleeping, eating and preparing food etc.  If you wish to do some tapasya, take some time out of that.  Make some time!  You have to do service.  However, if instead of one hour, you become powerful and do that in forty-five minutes, then you would receive the same fruit as two hours.  Save time!  Don't think that you remain very busy and that you don't have any time.  You will not get time, you will have to make time.  At the end, no one will listen to you when you say that your senior teacher never gave you any time, that she always remained very busy.  Make even your senior teachers co-operate with you and make time.  Fix a programme for this.  It shouldn't be that you think you have done service just because you have about eight new students who come to do the course and fifty regular students.  No; you are world benefactors, not just the benefactors of one centre.  So don't ever give the excuse that you don't have time.
Have strength.  Have love and fill yourself with such spiritual attraction that even the seniors become your companions.  You cannot free yourself from the results by giving the excuse that you are little.  Don't think that it would be a burden on the seniors or that they didn't give you time or didn't give you a chance.  Adopt one or another method and definitely make time to have some tapasya.  You yourselves are responsible for this.  Do you understand?
